We bought this oven as a replacement for a prior Bosch when that oven could no longer control temperature after many years of good service. The new oven is easy to use, controls temperature just fine, and has delivered good performance since we installed it. However, Bosch has redesigned the air flow and fans in the new oven. Instead of venting cooling air down to our feet, the new oven exhausts the air through slots at the top of each oven. This means the air is blowing directly in the face of the cooks and also across the kitchen 10 feet away. In addition, the fans are very noisy, measuring 53dBa, much louder than the prior oven.

Love my first few uses of my new Bosch double oven. Very roomy inside and cooked evenly and baked well, too. The cooling fan while running is a bit louder but very happy overall. Figuring out the digital controls was a bit different than I'm used to... but easy enough to understand.

This unit replaced an aging Viking Double-Oven. We were under pressure because Thanksgiving was a week away, and we host the gathering. Finding a 30" D-O last minute isn't difficult, but finding a 27" D-O can be. Of our options, Bosch was one, and because we have a Bosch Dishwasher we like, we bought the Bosch. It has worked well and looks good.

Purchased all new Bosch appliances in 2025.
The fan on the Double Wall Oven is extremly loud and the strong air force hits you in the face if your standing in front of the ovens.
Also on the under the counter Microwave, does not heat food uniformly like the old style rotating plate Micro.
Love the800 dishwasher. The full depth refrigeratior double door with the botton freezer door is a toe cruncher. the freezer door is tight to the kitchen floor. When you open the freezer door and are standing in front you crush/stub your toes.(no clearance for your feet)
We do like all of the Bosch appliances even with those exceptions.

We purchased this oven to replace a similar Bosch double oven that had provided many years of good performance before finally suffering temperature control issues that couldn't be fixed.
The new oven does control the temperature correctly. It has a simple user interface and so far has done it's job well. However, the new oven has two significant problems for us, both related to the vent fans. In our prior Bosch double oven, the vent path was straight down from the lower oven to the floor and was barely noticeable. The vent fans were also quiet. The new oven vent fans blow air directly into the room from above both the upper oven and the lower oven. Someone standing in front of the oven gets a steady wind in their face. The air flow continues across our kitchen, 10 feet away. In addition, the noise from the fans is loud. We measured it at 53 dBa, about 10 times louder than a dishwasher for reference.
The store we purchased from sent a Bosch certified technician who reported this was normal and would slowly quiet over time as the fans became coated (oil and fats from cooking, for example).
We are faced with hosting Thanksgiving in a kitchen with an annoying oven blasting away.

This double oven replaced my very old double oven. I LOVE this double wall oven.. works accurately, and like a dream. The thermometer that attaches to the oven and to what is cooking in the oven is a game changer.

My ovens were just delivered. I like the looks a lot. But...I turned both ovens on for one hour, and there was an annoying sound coming from the ovens for the entire cooking time and til it cooled down. I assume it's the fans. I wish I knew about the sound before purchasing.

Very nice looking double oven 27". Should have a manufacture warranty that shows the Quality of the product. To pay for an extended warranty is not what you want to do after paying $4,600.00 for it. Our Bosch oven we replaced was only 24 years old.

It fit well into the old oven space with a few modifications. Love the telescopic rack and lighting. Need to get used to oven temperature and cook time even when not using the convection feature. Love how it cooks pizza. So glad I bought these ovens!

This is our 4th double oven in 34 years of living in this home. We have had other brands; but this is our first Bosch oven. We have had a Bosch dishwasher for over 30 years and it is still working beautifully!!! Love it!!! So we are hoping that this double oven is as well made as their dishwasher . So far it has performed well. I do notice that the exhaust fan on the top oven seems to really heat up the control panel , so I'm using the bottom oven whenever I don't need a convection oven. And that keeps the control panel cool.😁

We bought Bosch 800 Series Double Wall Ovens to replace our Thermador ovens that were 30 years old. They are very similar! Our new Bosch ovens are fantastic! They make a 27" double wall oven unit that fit perfectly into our kitchen - no remodeling or extra install work needed. So we love it. The pizza button cooks frozen pizza perfectly! The cooking heat on regular bake or convection works very well. Food is cooked evenly. It is so much more quiet than our old ovens. We love these ovens as foodies and cooks.

I've only been using the ovens for less than a month and so far so good. I love the fast pre-heat and the soft close oven doors. The ovens heat evenly and the temperature is accurate. My only complaint is the black part of the control board. It is very hard for me to read and a flashlight does not help. The red line for heating rediness is impossible for me to see. I've had a technician come for a different issue and he said the light was already on high, "hopefully I'll get used to it ." Here's hoping.

I love the double wall oven, only thing that I can say , that also sounds petty, is that the fan blowing air out on the top oven is right in line with my eyes so It dries my eyes out when I am trying to change settings when it is on and cooking. I wish I had known that it blew out air like that so I could raise or lower where it was mounted to not do that everytime I'm using it.

Bosch makes great ovens; this is my second Bosch wall oven, my first one lasted 20 years.
So far my new one is great; however it does not have air fryer feature which is a miss, Also, the oven timer bell is not very loud even at maximum level. the double oven only comes with one strong support oven rack, should provide two since it two ovens.

Since I first turned on my NEW oven, it has made a whisteling noise. The repair man has ordered two new fans to hopefully correct the loud noise. How can this happen with a new product. I filled out a survey you sent with my complaint and have not heard a word from you!

Sleek and modern appearance. LOVE the telescopic pull out rack - wish it came with two. One for each oven. Main buttons different from the panel buttons are helpful as they are the 'work horses' and stand out. The brushed stainless surface means no finger prints. Great cooking options to choose from. Really like the soft close door hinges - it helps when your hands are full. You just give it a gentle nudge and the door closely gently. However, it was delivered defective as the upper oven door hinges were not functioning properly. Repair visit scheduled.
Would have liked the glass to be a bit darker (so you can't see items stored or the racks in the oven when it's off). Do not like the design or placement of the Interior glass light lenses. Simple rack adjustments could easily break them. Turning on the interior light illuminates both ovens (not just the oven you want to check). The delay cook setting is backwards for me (as you enter the time you want the cooking to stop and then how long the cooking time - not the time you want the cooking to start).
Haven't tried the self cleaning feature yet. Overall happy with our new oven and hope it operates well for many years.

This new oven replaced an old KitchenAid double oven that was original to our 1998 house. It thankfully fit into the existing opening, only thing was it did extend beyond the top opening more than we had planned so had to shift our cabinet doors up slightly to accomodate. Otherwise, it was a smooth replacement for an older appliance and so far has worked well. It doesn't release as much heat as our old oven, which I think is a good thing. It does seem to be a bit narrower than our old oven, as a half size sheet pan can't fit on top of the shelf but can slide onto one of the tracks by itself just fine. We're happy with our purchase.

I think this unit is pretty plain vanilla. It works the racks are creaky to get in and out and don't glide smoothly. The price of the sheet metal leaves visible seam and ruins the smooth look. It's confusing to set multiple timers when using both ovens overall, they will do the job

The cooling fan on the oven I received makes a terrible noise. Contaced Boshe and arranged for a Bosch Tech visit. He told us that the noise was normal. We insisted on a non-Bosch tech who discovered that both cooling fans were bad and need to be replaced. I am appalled that Bosch would ship an oven with two bad cooling fans and then follow up with a technician who would say nothing is wrong

This is my 2nd Bosch kitchen appliance and I highly recommend spending the extra money to get their products! I'm on my 8th year with my dishwasher and it's just as quiet as the day I bought it! I'm now enjoying a dble. oven! I haven't used all the features yet, but working on it! Thanks Bosch!

What a difference from my old double ovens! You can feel the quality once you hold the handles to open the oven. The features are straightforward which also matches the beautiful external design of the oven. My hope is that the digital controls will hold up without issues as what I hear from new digitally controlled appliances.

Both ovens should be convection. And the oven should be able to be run via the app.
Otherwise it's well designed and runs perfectly .
Hear times are good and the rack system good as advertised .

I have a Bosch dishwasher and it's very quite. Not same for oven. When in operation the noise level is approximately 80Db. If I had known this I would not have purchased it!
